Dr. Saphan

July 9th, 2007 Linda Saphan

There is a time for every thing, a time to nap in a hammock under a mango tree, a time to smell the scent of a flower from a distance, and a time to be called Dr. Saphan.

For a very long time the hope seems so far away. Somehow I never wished really to end the journey of learning, being a student. There is something about being a PhD candidate, a certain mood for roaming in the realm of knowledge. Some labeled me as a lady of leisure. And in it I found a certain poetry for it reminded of a time where learning was a leisure…

Be ware of Dr. Saphan’s return with new and exciting projects on the cultural, educational and artistic fields! Friends, nothing have changed. Just three little consonants at the end of my name PhD, so many years of a lifetime for three little consonants that can be resumed as Permanent Head Damaged!
